Review - Fairydust Entertainment

We first came across Fairydust Entertainment, without knowing it, back in 2014 when we took Lily along to meet 'Queen Elsa' at a bookshop event in our local shopping centre.

It was rather sweet but we didn't think that much more about it until Lilymae's Play Cafe opened in High Wycombe and at the opening celebration, we met 'Queen Elsa' again, along with 'Princess Anna'.

I was pleasantly surprised when the princess characters interacted with the children, remaining in character when playing with the toys and taking part in the activities. They didn't just provide a photo op, by the end of the morning, Lily was convinced that 'Elsa and Anna are my best friends' and I remember feeling quite emotional - that encounters like this make for a magical childhood.

It turns out that Fairydust Entertainment are big fans if Lilymae's and so a few weeks later Lily was lucky enough to make even more friends.

What I really like about the characters is the attention to detail. Not in the costumes, hair and make-up (all of which are lovely), but in the mannerisms. The way they hold their hands, the way they pose for photos. It's very well done. Also, as a parent, I really like that they take the time to remember Lily and other children they see regularly.

Although I haven't personally hired the Fairydust team, I would definitely consider it and would suggest them to anyone else looking for delightful fairytale princesses to adorn their party or event. You can find out more about them on their website here.
