My #littleloves this week

Strangely, this last week has seemed to go by very slowly. Perhaps because I am looking forward to the weekend so much! It's hard when the days are long and stressful to not wish my life away but I can't help looking forward to getting the house move over and done with. My sister is arriving later today for a birthday visit, it'll be nice to have her here for a bit as the kids adore her (as do I).

So, on with this week's #littleloves, linking up with the wonderful Coffee Work Sleep Repeat.

Read
Lots of birthday cards and Facebook messages! I turned 30 on Wednesday and was sent loads of lovely messages and cards from my wonderful friends and family.

Our stories have included some old favourites, including the classic "We're Going on a Bear Hunt" and a few of our 'That's not my' books which always go down well.

Watched
The Apprentice.
Yes, I know that watching it will lead to me yelling at the TV in frustration, but I just can't help it.

Wore
New clothes! Yes, after describing how much a dislike shopping, I decided to bit the bullet and go for it. It wasn't too bad, although that may be because I did manage to spread it out over a couple of days.

I've also been wearing one of my birthday gifts - a Radley watch from Matt. Isn't it lovely? I have tiny wrists so it can be difficult finding a watch that I like but this one is perfect!

Heard
Lots of Lily singing. She's always enjoyed singing nursery rhymes, songs and her own made-up tunes but now she seems to realise that Ollie is a captive audience and so she gives him a full performance a couple of times a day.

I love watching them together. She is incredibly protective of him and he adores her. Now Ollie has perfected the art of sitting up it is easier for them to play and mess around.

Made
I have not had a particularly creative week! Does making a mess count? It seems like the more tidying I attempt, the more I have to do, and that's without counting the mess that is piling up ahead of moving. I just can't put it off any longer.

And lastly...
This week has been a bit stressful. Certainly not what I wanted for my birthday week, but I've had some trouble with my last employer and it has left me feeling quite frazzled around the edges. I'm so glad to be leaving a company which doesn't value it's staff, or return the loyalty of it's employees and I hope to get all the unpleasantness behind me quickly so I can enjoy the last couple of weeks of maternity leave before starting my new role as a school receptionist.

I'm pretty sure making a mess could go under my "make" paragraph every week, so I wouldn't worry too much about that!! Sorry to hear you've had a rubbish week at work, always puts a dampener on everything, doesn't it?!
